Happy almost Five Year Anniversary, No Man’s Sky!
What a week, am I right? No new update news, sadly. Feels like I’ve been on this hype train for years and I’m exhausted.

This is a newer to me channel, but I’m really enjoying KJ PC Gaming’s “Let’s Play” videos
Hungry for Apples has a really interesting take on “Let’s Play” videos. Rather than talking about gameplay, he tells stories and it’s really immersive. Note: he does use mods in his gameplay.
Procedural Traveler streamed the Atlas Rises version of NMS earlier this week. I love when people stream the older versions of the game - I like to see how much the game has changed.

Is No Man’s Sky Worth Playing in 2021 by GFinity
GAMERANT wrote a decent article about No Man’s Sky for the five year anniversary. Some things said in the article make me question whether the writer has played recently. Specifically, the author seems to think that Living Ships can’t be steered well in space. Issues: living ships are fully maneuverable; he was talking about pets in the previous paragraph, which steering is a bit more of a suggestion - BUT - you can’t fly them in space. Otherwise, decent write-up of the progress the game has made.
